Blair Hills is a small, quiet, predominately African American[1] neighborhood of Culver City, California estimated at 0.559 square miles (1.4 km2) with a population density of 2956 people per sq. mile [2]. The Blair Hills neighborhood is roughly bounded by La Cienega Boulevard on the east, oil wells on the south, Baldwin Hills Scenic State Park on the west and Jefferson Boulevard and Rodeo Road to the north.
In the 1950s a property developer by the name of Stone & Stone began building homes in an area now called Blair Hills. Prior to the 1950s the area had been used as an oil field [3].
Blair Hills neighborhood highlights include its 1.62-acre (6,600 m2) Blair Hills Park, low homeowner turnover, and its active Neighborhood Association.
